Responsibilities
- ● Drive production performance by working closely with the production team to achieve key KPIs such as throughput, yield, quality, and on-time delivery.
- ● Organize, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- ● Develop and maintain production documentation including work instructions, routings, and process flows.
- ● Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and optimize processes.
- ● Investigate operational issues, troubleshoot manufacturing problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
- ● Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve production yield, reduce waste, and lower overall manufacturing costs.
- ● Collaborate with cross functional teams including Production, Planning, and Quality to ensure smooth production flow and product readiness.
- ● Support technical problem solving during critical production situations and lead improvement initiatives across departments.
- ● Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while maintaining reliable equipment and stable processes.
- ● Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- ● Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, Physics, or related field).
- ● Preferable experience in optical or precision manufacturing environments; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- ● Strong knowledge of optical glass and ceramic manufacturing processes such as grinding, lapping, double side polishing, CNC machining, and optical measurement techniques.
- ● Experience with process engineering tools and methodologies such as SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
- ● Familiarity with optical fabrication technologies, metrology, and surface finishing processes is an advantage.
- ● Strong analytical and data driven mindset with the ability to translate data into process improvements.
- ● Excellent problem solving skills with a proactive and hands on approach.
- ● Effective communicator and team player who collaborates well across departments.
- ● Ability to work in a dynamic production environment and respond effectively to urgent operational challenges.
