Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly MIS packs covering financial performance, operational volumes, revenue, cost, EBITDA, margins, capex and key business KPIs for Ports Cluster leadership.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, prior year and business plan, including clear explanations of volume, tariff, mix, cost, productivity and one-off drivers.
  • Own periodic volume reporting for ports businesses, ensuring alignment with operational systems, commercial inputs and finance records.
  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term business planning through data consolidation, financial modelling, assumptions validation and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and maintain FP&A models, dashboards and reporting tools to support performance tracking, decision-making and management review.
  • Partner with operations, commercial, strategy and finance teams to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, validate performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare management commentary and executive summaries for monthly performance reviews, business review meetings and leadership reporting.
  • Track business KPIs and scorecards, including volumes, revenue per unit, cost per unit, utilization, productivity, EBITDA margin, capex progress and working capital indicators where relevant.
  • Support investment cases, business cases and ad hoc financial analysis for new initiatives, pricing decisions, capacity expansion and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, data integrity and timely submission of all management reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or CFA is preferred.
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, MIS reporting, business finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting or financial analysis, preferably within ports, logistics, maritime, infrastructure, transportation or an asset-intensive business.
  • Proven experience in preparing monthly MIS packs, management reports and performance dashboards.
  • Strong experience in budget vs actual, forecast vs actual and year-on-year variance analysis.
  • Experience working with operational and commercial data, including volumes, tariffs, revenue drivers, cost drivers and profitability metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare financial analysis and commentary for senior management.
  • Experience in ports, logistics, maritime, infrastructure or similar asset-heavy industries preferred.
