About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Process Orchestration (PO) Consultant with strong integration expertise and exposure to utilities business processes. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting middleware integrations between core utilities systems such as billing, CRM, device management, AMI/MDM platforms, and enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands-on experience in SAP Process Orchestration and integration with SAP for Utilities (IS-U) within a high-volume, regulated utilities environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interfaces using:
  • Enterprise Service Repository (ESR)
  • Integration Directory
  • Graphical and Java mappings
  • Develop and support:
  • IDoc interfaces
  • RFC integrations
  • SOAP/REST web services
  • File-based and SFTP interfaces
  • Implement synchronous and asynchronous communication scenarios.
  • Integrate SAP IS-U with:
  • CRM / Customer systems
  • FI-CA
  • Device Management
  • AMI / Smart Meter systems
  • Payment gateways
  • Data warehouse platforms
  • Support integrations for:
  • Move-in / Move-out
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Meter data ingestion
  • Payment processing
  • Monitor interface performance using:
  • SAP PO monitoring tools
  • Message monitoring & error handling
  • Perform root cause analysis for failed messages.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support.
  • Ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Design scalable integration architecture.
  • Configure adapters:
  • IDoc
  • SOAP
  • REST
  • JDBC
  • File/SFTP
  • Implement security protocols:
