Responsibilities

  • ● Assist in selecting and administering contract delivery processes to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • ● Support the TMR Area Engineer in delivering Road Maintenance Performance Contracts, ensuring time, cost, safety and quality requirements are met.
  • ● Determine and manage appropriate road and bridge maintenance procedures, work instructions and maintenance activities.
  • ● Contribute to the development of functional road and bridge layouts that support long-term network objectives.
  • ● Calculate material quantities, analyse test results, identify non-conformances and contribute to risk management activities.
  • ● Assist in managing projects, or elements of projects, under supervision.
  • ● Provide support and advice during planning and design processes to achieve value-for-money and best-practice outcomes.
  • ● Ensure quality management requirements are met and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • ● A four-year Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), or an equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
  • ● A current Class C Driver Licence.
  • ● Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • ● A criminal history check and serious disciplinary action declaration will be undertaken prior to appointment.
