About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP on HANA / OData Consultant to join our dynamic SAP practice in Lucknow. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in SAP ABAP, ABAP on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, OData Services, and SAP BTP , who are passionate about delivering innovative and scalable SAP solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to build next-generation enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

  • ● Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using ABAP on HANA and SAP S/4HANA technologies.
  • ● Develop high-performance solutions leveraging HANA database capabilities and code pushdown techniques.
  • ● Design and build OData services for SAP Fiori and integration requirements.
  • ● Perform SAP S/4HANA conversion and remediation activities, including:
  • ● SPAU Adjustments
  • ● SPDD Adjustments
  • ● Simplification Item (S4H) Violations Remediation
  • ● SOH (Suite on HANA) Violations Remediation
  • ● Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • ● Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and SAP extensions.
  • ● Build and deploy applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) .
  • ● 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • ● Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP on HANA , with exposure to at least two full-cycle SAP implementation or migration projects .
  • ● Recent project experience (within the last four years) in:
  • ● SAP S/4HANA
  • ● ABAP on HANA
  • ● SAP Upgrade/Conversion Programs
  • ● Strong expertise in:
  • ● SAP ABAP
  • ● OData Services
  • ● SAP BTP
  • ● Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration.
  • ● Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
  • ● Exposure to SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP services.
  • ● Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation and brownfield conversion projects.
  • ● Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
