About the Role

Join an international manufacturing company as part of its internal SAP team, supporting and developing a modern SAP landscape. You'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of SAP systems while contributing to exciting infrastructure and digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and enhance SAP system landscapes, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
  • Manage SAP environments and underlying databases, including installations, upgrades, support packages, kernel updates, patch management, and system/client copies.
  • Provide 2nd-level technical support, troubleshoot complex SAP Basis issues, and optimise system performance.
  • Implement SAP security measures and support vulnerability management and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, international teams, and external partners on SAP infrastructure and transformation projects, including the implementation of modern SAP and cloud technologies.
  • Support project delivery and take ownership of technical workstreams where required.
  • Your Profile
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration within complex SAP environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP technologies such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
  • Knowledge of SAP security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a structured, independent approach to work.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills. SAP certifications are beneficial.
