The impact you'll make At Lam, as a Financial Analyst, you will be a trusted advisor to the business and influence sound business decisions based on your expertise in interpreting data, performing analysis, modeling, and understanding financial outlook. You're in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape Lam's financial strategies and decisions for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process of forecasting, reviewing, and managing all Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)
  • Actively participate in all forecasting cycles, providing financial insights and driving planning accuracy
  • Use planning tool, Workday-Adaptive to manage forecasting workflows, improve data integrity, and deliver timely, strategic financial plans
  • Collect and validate budget inputs from all functions across the company, working closely with budget owners to ensure efficient control
  • Prepare and record Operating Expense journal entries in accordance with company accounting policies and requirements
  • Perform closing activities related to operating expenses, including accruals, prepaid expenses, reclassifications, and other adjustments
  • Analyze expense reports, identify trends, and investigate variances from budget
  • Deliver accurate and timely data-driven analysis to support the manager and management in strategic and operational decision-making
  • Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders
  • Identify and implement improvements in forecasting workflows, budget planning cycles, and financial reporting processes
  • Work closely with Region Finance and Spares Program/ Operation Team and other business units to ensure financial transparency and alignment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Attention to details and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of US GAAP and India GAAP is a plus.
  • Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
  • SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills.
  • Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, and concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones.
