Exposure to multi-stream digital, cyber, and infrastructure uplift initiatives 6-month initial contract opportunity Hybrid work - 2 days work from home We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support critical workstreams within a broader Cybersecurity program. This role sits within a high visibility environment and requires strong stakeholder engagement, structured delivery capability, and the ability to blend project management with business analysis responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Workstream Delivery - Lead and coordinate two concurrent work streams within the university's cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines. Stakeholder-Facing Delivery - Act as the primary outward facing contact, engaging with external vendors, partners, and university stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and progress. PM + BA Hybrid Responsibilities - Plan, schedule, and coordinate delivery activities while also gathering, analysing, and validating technical data across applications, servers, and infrastructure. Data Collection & Validation - Work directly with external stakeholders to collect and verify information required for security posture assessments. Remediation Coordination - Track, manage, and report on remediation activities arising from technical findings, ensuring issues are resolved in line with program expectations. GRC Support - Partner closely with the program's GRC specialist to support governance, risk, compliance, and policy related activities. Reporting & Status Updates - Provide structured reporting, dashboards, and updates to program leadership, highlighting progress, risks, issues, and dependencies. Risk & Issue Management - Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies across both workstreams.
  • Cybersecurity Background - Prior experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or a related technical domain.
  • Experience working in large, complex environments such as universities, government, or enterprise organisations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
