Responsibilities

  • Work on EWO & PTW JIRA Tickets and implement solutions as per Helix EO (Engineering Order).
  • Lead implementation of new site builds from an IT Network perspective.
  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents as per the Scope of Work (SOW).
  • Prepare fortnightly, monthly, and weekly reports using JIRA tickets.
  • Develop Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
  • Commission and decommission network elements, ensuring smooth integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Execute Cisco NSO DHCP Migration and DNS IPIC Migration.
  • Analyze complex network problems, perform root cause analysis, and provide resolutions.
  • Implement network changes to minimize outages and optimize performance.
  • Upgrade IOS versions to prevent system vulnerabilities and bugs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers and switches.
  • Conduct capacity planning and enhance link capacity for critical NOC elements.
  • Ensure all network designs meet quality standards based on process guidelines.
  • Drive best practices aligned with company frameworks and industry standards.
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to optimize network performance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
  • Ability to analyze network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex telecommunication environments including Australian Telco Operators.
  • Experience in capacity planning and network performance optimization with Australian Telco operators.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues related to IP/MPLS implementation.
