Responsibilities
- ● Maintaining and updating all production and sampling related records.
- ● Communicating with vendors and internal teams.
- ● Creating purchase orders.
- ● Sourcing and indenting.
- ● Conducting style analysis and fashion trend analysis.
- ● Checking the in-house status of materials required for production.
- ● Managing vendors including order closure, submission follow up, and shipment follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
- ● 2-7 years of work experience with a retailer, buying agency, or export house.
- ● Experience in handling knit and woven apparel products.
- ● Experience in apparel buying, sourcing, or product development is essential.
- ● Kids-wear experience is an added advantage.
- ● Sound product and production knowledge.
- ● Proficiency in Excel and advanced Excel skills are compulsory.
- ● Strong communication skills.
- ● Negotiation skills.
- ● Vendor development skills.
- ● Understanding of quality parameters and testing requirements.
- ● Open to travel.
