Responsibilities

  • ● Provide day-to-day SAP FICO functional support within a production SAP ECC environment.
  • ● Analyse and resolve SAP Finance incidents, service requests and business issues.
  • ● Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • ● Support business users with SAP process queries and system improvements.
  • ● Ensure timely resolution of SAP support tickets in line with agreed service levels.
  • ● Participate in SAP change management, testing and deployment activities.
  • ● Provide functional support and configuration expertise across:
  • ● General Ledger (GL)
  • ● Accounts Payable (AP)
  • ● Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • ● Asset Accounting (AA)
  • ● Banking and Electronic Bank Statements
  • ● Financial posting processes
  • ● Tax and compliance-related processes
  • ● Period-end and year-end closing activities
  • ● Cost Centre Accounting
  • ● Internal Orders
  • ● Profit Centre Accounting
  • ● Cost allocations and assessments
  • ● Reporting and analysis
  • ● Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • ● Prepare functional specifications for SAP developments and enhancements.

  • ● Participate in workshops to understand requirements and define solutions.
  • ● Maintain strong relationships with business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • ● Degree qualification in Finance, Information Technology, Business or related discipline preferred.
  • ● SAP certification in FICO is desirable.
