We're seeking a Senior Business Process Specialist to join our Business Optimisation team and help drive QBE's transformation and modernisation initiatives. Partnering with business stakeholders, you'll analyse, optimise and improve processes that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency. As a Senior Business Process Specialist, you will: Lead process discovery, analysis and optimisation initiatives across key business functions. Map and document current and future state processes, identifying opportunities to improve customer and operational outcomes. Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to understand business challenges, root causes and improvement opportunities. Drive business improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefit realisation. Analyse customer and operational data to develop evidence-based recommendations. Support transformation and modernisation programs by ensuring processes are efficient, scalable and aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process discovery, analysis and optimisation initiatives across key business functions.
  • Map and document current and future state processes, identifying opportunities to improve customer and operational outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to understand business challenges, root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive business improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefit realisation.
  • Analyse customer and operational data to develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Support transformation and modernisation programs by ensuring processes are efficient, scalable and aligned to business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business process optimisation, continuous improvement, business analysis or transformation roles.
  • Experience delivering process improvement initiatives in complex organisational environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple business areas.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into practical solutions and a solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Exposure to Guidewire or other enterprise platforms and technology-enabled transformation programs would be advantageous.
  • Highly analytical, curious and customer-focused, with a passion for solving complex problems and driving continuous improvement.
