About the Company

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead our client financial operations in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning to drive the company's growth and profitability. Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Work Mode: Work from Office Role: Chief Finance Officer Industry: Automobile. We prefer candidate who can read, write and speak fluent mandarin as this role required to liaise with Chinese customers.

Responsibilities

  • ● Responsible for the financial strategy, management and control of the Group including financial planning and budgetary control, financial projections and development of financial policy to achieve the strategic plans of the Group.
  • ● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements e.g Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, MFRS, tax legislation, etc
  • ● Undertake financial review and planning of new project and investments.
  • ● Involve in directing and implementing financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures that contribute to good commercial management of the Group's business and ensure sound internal controls are in place.
  • ● Reviewing the areas of cash and banking management, banking facilities, foreign exchange exposure and working capital management.
  • ● Liaise with Company Secretaries, Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers and Government bodies as and when required.
  • ● Project lead in due diligence exercises and familiar with merger and acquisitions as well as corporate restructuring.
  • ● Dealing with Audit Committee on quarterly announcement and control/compliance matters.

Requirements

  • ● Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional Accounting qualification such as MICPA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW;A member of MIA;
  • ● Must be familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Rules & Regulations & Companies Act;
  • ● At least 10 years' experience in a large PLC or MNC of which at least 5 years holding a senior finance position;
  • ● Experience in a Chief Financial Officer or Deputy Chief Financial Officer position with PLCs preferred;
  • ● Background or experience in Big 4 accounting firm is an added advantage;
  • ● A strong team player with good interpersonal skill and able to work with all level of management from different companies within the Group;
  • ● A proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
