Responsibilities
- ● Analyze and investigate security alerts generated by various security tools and platforms
- ● Respond promptly to security incidents, assess the impact, and implement appropriate countermeasures
- ● Proactively search for signs of malicious activity within the organization's network and systems
- ● Conduct digital forensics to determine the scope, nature, and impact of security incidents
- ● Document findings and provide detailed reports for further analysis and remediation
- ● Plan and maintain user security awareness training and testing
- ● Monitor assets vulnerability posture and collaborate with IT teams on remediating findings
- ● Participate in the development and enhancement of incident response plans and operational procedures
- ● Collaborate with other teams to prevent, contain, and eradicate security threats
- ● Maintain in good state and optimize security policy enforcement and monitoring systems to ensure maximum effectiveness
- ● Respond to ServiceNow inquiries and requests from the users and various IT teams regarding policy conflicts and technical issues
- ● Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends and technologies and recommend security controls alignment
Requirements
- ● At least 5 years of progressive experience in Cyber Security
- ● Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements
- ● Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
- ● Extensive experience in investigating security alerts, threat hunting, and conducting post-breach forensic investigations
- ● Demonstrate application of knowledge in networking security and IT infrastructure administration to mitigate cyber risk
- ● Proficiency in using various enterprise-grade and open-source cyber security tools and technologies
- ● Demonstrable knowledge of IT infrastructure and services, including cloud-based, strong troubleshooting skills
- ● Proven ability to lead small process improvement projects, initiatives and deliver results on time
- ● Skills in automating security responses with SOAR, scripts, AI agents is considered an asset
- ● Completion of GIAC, EC-Council, ISC2 or other equivalent cyber security certification is required
