Responsibilities

  • Support the full deal cycle, from origination and screening through due diligence, structuring and execution to portfolio value creation and exit.
  • Build and own financial models, including LBO, valuation and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct commercial, financial and market due diligence, coordinating closely with advisers and management teams.
  • Prepare investment memos and committee materials, and contribute your own view on risks, returns and value-creation levers.
  • Analyse buy-and-build opportunities and support add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, KPIs and strategic initiatives alongside Partners and management.
  • Contribute to sourcing and relationship-building with advisers, intermediaries and management teams across the DACH market.

Requirements

  • Around 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in private equity, top-tier investment banking, or top-tier strategy consulting.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with sharp commercial judgement.
  • A genuine interest in the German-speaking mid-market and in building businesses over the long term.
  • Excellent academic background in finance, economics, business or a related field.
  • Fluent German and English are essential, given the DACH focus and direct interaction with management teams.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity and the maturity to take ownership.
