About the Company

Job Location : Dubai, UAE We are seeking an accomplished, client-side SAP Enterprise Architect with 12 to 15+ years of progressive enterprise architecture experience to own the architecture blueprint, lead the technical governance, and provide objective third-party oversight of the System Integrator deliverables. This senior strategic leader will bridge business capabilities with technology architecture, champion the fit-to-standard paradigm, and eliminate unnecessary technical debt.

Responsibilities

  • -Lead enterprise architecture strategy, solution blueprinting, and transient-state planning for the multi-entity SAP S/4HANA RISE transition.
  • -Enforce strict "Clean Core" principles, ensuring that extensions and custom integrations are built side by side using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • -Establish design principles and chair the architectural evaluation process to eliminate legacy technical debt and custom-heavy RICEFW overhead.
  • -Oversee System Integrator deliverables, ensuring design quality, scope containment, and adherence to baseline fixed-bid specifications.
  • -Facilitate Fit-to-Standard validation workshops with business leaders, stream leads, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • -Guide cross-functional business groups (Manufacturing, Logistics, Projects, and Trading) toward adopting SAP Best Practices over legacy customizations.
  • -Decompose complex business requirements into standard end-to-end workflows with unified approvals, localized compliance, and strict exception handling.
  • -Define and lead the global enterprise data harmonization strategy across all business units.
  • -Govern centralized Master Data Management (MDM) across core domains, including Business Partners, Materials, and a global, standardized Chart of Accounts (CoA).
  • -Oversee the data migration pipeline (utilizing ChainSys automated platforms) across progressive validation, mapping, pre-load cleansing, and mock cutover cycles.
  • -Enforce data sovereignty, the localized UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and strict validation constraints before production cutovers.
  • -Define the overarching enterprise analytics framework to ensure real-time operational insights via S/4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS views).
  • -Orchestrate the unified reporting semantic layer via SAP Datasphere, feeding into the client-controlled visualization tier (Microsoft Power BI and Qlik Sense).
  • -Collaborate on historical data retention strategies to harmonize 17 years of legacy database capital within the target data warehouse topology without impacting core ERP performance.

Requirements

  • - Total Experience: 12-15+ years of progressive IT delivery, solution architecture, and strategic digital core leadership.
  • - SAP Transformation Mastery: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on client-side architecture leadership inside large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation programs.
  • - Migration Track Record: Direct, proven experience navigating complex migrations from Oracle EBS (or similar legacy ERPs) to SAP S/4HANA cloud landscapes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/scientific discipline; an Executive MBA or advanced management qualification is highly preferred.
  • - International Certifications: Highly preferred (e.g., SAP Certified - SAP S/4HANA, TOGAF 9 Certification, PMP or PRINCE2, and relevant Cloud Architecture certifications).
  • -Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition / RISE methodologies) and the SAP Activate framework.
  • -Advanced proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Datasphere, and clean-core extensibility models.
  • -Strong command over cross-functional process architectures spanning Finance/Controlling (FICO), Supply Chain (MM, SD, EWM), Projects (PS, EPPM), and core cloud suites like SuccessFactors and Ariba.
  • -Expertise in establishing data quality metrics, master data governance, and automated reconciliation frameworks.
  • -Familiarity with regional GCC statutory mandates, including Wage Protection System (WPS), UAE Corporate Tax, and e-invoicing integrations.
  • -Exemplary stakeholder management and advisory skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence CXO/Board-level executives.
  • -A consultative and collaborative leadership style capable of challenging legacy thinking and driving change across decentralized business structures.
  • -Experience supporting large, diversified conglomerates or family business groups with multi-vertical operations.
