As a Claims Officer, you'll manage Commercial, Fleet and Leasing motor claims from start to finish, building strong relationships with customers, brokers and key stakeholders while delivering exceptional service every step of the way. No two days are the same. You'll balance customer conversations, claim decisions, negotiations and problem solving, all while making a genuine difference for businesses when they need support the most. Responsibilities
- ● Manage a portfolio of Commercial, Fleet and Leasing motor claims from lodgement through to settlement.
- ● Deliver outstanding service through inbound and outbound customer, broker and supplier interactions.
- ● Keep customers and stakeholders informed throughout the claims journey.
- ● Assess claim information and make timely, informed decisions.
- ● Negotiate claim outcomes and settlements with brokers and customers.
- ● Work closely with repairers, suppliers and internal teams to achieve the best outcomes.
- ● Identify opportunities for recoveries, fraud prevention and cost-effective claim management.
- ● Build trusted relationships with key fleet clients and support ongoing account management.
- ● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- ● Strong customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
- ● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- ● Confidence making decisions and negotiating outcomes.
- ● Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- ● The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- ● A resilient and adaptable approach with a genuine customer focus.
- ● Previous motor claims experience will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
- ● ANZIIF qualifications are advantageous but not required.
