About the Company

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer must be a highly skilled and detail-orientated manufacturing engineer with a strong background in CNC precision machining. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production

Responsibilities

  • ● Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products.
  • ● Create detailed process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and tool lists.
  • ● Evaluate and select appropriate cutting tools, fixturing, and machining parameters.
  • ● Conduct process capability studies and root cause analysis of machining-related issues.
  • ● Lead or support NPI projects, ensuring manufacturability of components.
  • ● Collaborate with engineering to provide DFM/DFA (design for manufacturing/assembly) feedback.
  • ● Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and cost.
  • ● Train and support machinists on new processes and best practices.
  • ● Support maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment as needed.
  • ● Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • ● More than 5 years of experience in a CNC precision machining environment.
  • ● Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of machinists and other staffs.
  • ● Experience with CAD/CAM software
  • ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ● Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • ● Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • ● Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling across departments.
