Responsibilities
- ● Identify material requirements based on project schedules and BOQs.
- ● Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for cost, quality, and reliability.
- ● Issue and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- ● Maintain supplier database and monitor vendor performance.
- ● Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends and innovations.
- ● Record purchase transactions and reconcile invoices with POs and delivery notes.
- ● Manage vendor payments and monitor procurement-related cash flow.
- ● Prepare cost reports and highlight variances against project budgets.
- ● Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- ● Maintain audit-ready documentation for procurement and accounts.
- ● Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams.
- ● Provide MIS reports on purchase costs, supplier performance, and budget utilization.
- ● Support cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Engineering (Civil Engineering)
- ● Must have knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market rates.
- ● Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar)
- ● Experience in procurement and accounting, preferably in construction
- ● Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- ● 3-5 years of experience for Purchase Manager
- ● 2-3 years of experience for Assistant Purchase Manager
