As we continue to grow, we're looking for a GRC Analyst to support the delivery of Sharon AI's Governance, Risk & Compliance program. Reporting to the Head of GRC, you'll help maintain the risk register, support compliance activities across key frameworks and embed GRC processes across the business. About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an emerging security and compliance professional to grow their career within a high-growth AI infrastructure company. You'll work closely with the Head of GRC to maintain the risk register, support compliance programs including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and help embed governance and risk practices across the business.
Responsibilities
- β Assist in maintaining and updating Sharon AI's risk register, including tracking risk treatment actions, owner follow-ups and status reporting
- β Support the delivery of Sharon AI's compliance programs including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, assisting with evidence collection, control testing and audit preparation
- β Assist in the development, review and maintenance of Sharon AI's information security policies, standards and procedures, ensuring documentation is current and accessible
- β Conduct third-party and vendor security assessments, coordinating due diligence activities and maintaining the vendor risk register
- β Respond to customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests, maintaining a library of standard responses and supporting evidence
- β Support the delivery of security awareness training and assist in communicating GRC requirements across the business
- β Assist in tracking and reporting on GRC metrics, preparing dashboards and status updates for the Head of GRC and relevant stakeholders
- β Contribute to continuous improvement of GRC processes, tools and documentation as the function matures and scales
Requirements
- β 2-4 years' experience in a GRC, information security, risk or compliance role within a technology or enterprise environment
- β Working knowledge of information security frameworks including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and familiarity with the Australian Privacy Act
- β Experience supporting compliance activities such as evidence collection, control testing or audit preparation
- β Solid understanding of risk management principles and experience maintaining or contributing to a risk register
- β Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, track deadlines and maintain accurate documentation
- β Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external auditors or vendors
- β Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, Law or a related discipline
- β Progress toward or completion of a relevant certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Internal Auditor or CISA highly regarded
- β Background in technology, cloud, AI infrastructure or enterprise software environments highly regarded
