The Wellness Manager is responsible for designing, leading, and managing the hotel's holistic wellness program, with a primary focus on yoga, sound healing, mindfulness, and wellness experiences. The role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest journeys, creating innovative wellness activities, developing wellness partnerships, and ensuring all programs reflect the hotel's luxury standards while promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

  • ● Develop and implement a yearly wellness calendar featuring yoga, sound healing, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, and other holistic wellness activities.
  • ● Design signature wellness experiences that align with the hotel's brand and guest expectations.
  • ● Create seasonal wellness retreats, workshops, and special events.
  • ● Continuously introduce new wellness concepts based on industry trends and guest feedback.
  • ● Conduct group and private yoga sessions suitable for different fitness levels.
  • ● Lead sound healing, meditation, and relaxation sessions using appropriate instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, and gongs.
  • ● Customize wellness sessions based on guest needs and preferences.
  • ● Ensure all wellness sessions are delivered safely and professionally.
  • ● Provide personalized wellness consultations and recommend suitable programs.
  • ● Create memorable and meaningful wellness journeys for guests.
  • ● Respond promptly to guest feedback and ensure service recovery when required.
  • ● Build strong relationships with repeat wellness guests.
  • ● Manage the daily operation of wellness activities and wellness spaces.
  • ● Maintain all wellness equipment and sound healing instruments.
  • ● Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • ● Develop wellness packages, retreats, and membership programs.
  • ● Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operational Teams to promote wellness offerings.
  • ● Support revenue growth through wellness experiences and retail wellness products.
  • ● Prepare annual wellness budgets and forecasts.
  • ● Monitor departmental expenses and wellness program profitability.
  • ● Maximize revenue opportunities through wellness experiences, private sessions, and special events.
  • ● Ensure all yoga and wellness activities are conducted safely.
  • ● Maintain guest confidentiality and wellness records where applicable.
  • ● Ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed during wellness activities.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Wellness Management, Sports Science, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • ● Certified Yoga Instructor; advanced certifications are an advantage.
  • ● Certification in Sound Healing, Meditation, Breathwork, or other holistic wellness practices.
  • ● Minimum 2 years of experience leading wellness programs, preferably in a luxury hotel, wellness retreat, or resort.
  • ● Strong knowledge of holistic wellness, mindfulness, and guest well-being.
  • ● Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
