We're looking for a passionate Communications Intern to join our team. Whether you're completing a university placement or looking to gain practical agency experience alongside your studies, this internship will provide hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of public relations and strategic communications. You'll work alongside experienced communications professionals on real client campaigns, learning how ideas develop from strategy through to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of integrated PR and communications campaigns.
  • Researching media, industry trends and consumer insights to inform campaigns.
  • Building and maintaining media lists using industry databases.
  • Drafting media releases, pitches, briefing documents and social media content.
  • Monitoring media coverage and preparing client reports.
  • Assisting with influencer research and campaign coordination.
  • Supporting client meetings, brainstorming sessions and campaign planning.
  • Helping identify news opportunities and developing creative story ideas.
  • Conducting competitor and market research.
  • Learning how AI tools can support communications planning, content creation and research.

Requirements

  • Studying Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious about the news and what makes a good story.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a small team.
  • Interested in media, social media, influencer marketing and emerging communications trends.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies, including AI tools.
