About the Company

Position: SAP S/4HANA Payroll Consultant Working Duration: 5 months contract under ADECCO (Renewable based on business needs) Working Location: KL Working Day/Hours: Monday - Friday; 9AM - 6PM Salary: Basic negotiable (Based on experience & skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance We are seeking a new talent to join the SAP S4/HANA payroll team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project 9940553004 - FPG Project Nova. The client is NTUC-National Trade Union Congress , a company dedicated to representing and supporting the interests of workers through various services and initiatives aimed at improving labor conditions and promoting fair employment practices.

Responsibilities

  • ● Gather, analyze, and document payroll business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Payroll solutions.
  • ● Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices aligned with business processes and design principles.
  • ● Configure and support SAP Payroll components, including payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processing activities.
  • ● Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and test artifacts.
  • ● Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, and Technical teams to design and implement payroll solutions.
  • ● Support integrations between SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
  • ● Participate in data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and mock conversion cycles.
  • ● Develop and execute test scenarios, support SIT/UAT, payroll parallel runs, and manage defect resolution.
  • ● Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions to drive requirement alignment and solution sign-off.
  • ● Support cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live hypercare support.
  • ● Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies related to payroll processes.
  • ● Ensure payroll solutions comply with business requirements, statutory regulations, and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, HR, or a related field.
  • ● Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant or SAP HCM Payroll Consultant.
  • ● Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Payroll configuration and implementation.
  • ● Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processing.
  • ● Experience in business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional documentation.
  • ● Experience supporting SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and go-live activities.
  • ● Experience integrating SAP Payroll with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
  • ● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
