About the Role
As our Associate Partner in Audit, you'll play a key role within our professional practice team and as a client serving team member to help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Your Key Responsibilities Assist with the firm's ISQM 1 requirements. Consult with engagement teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm methodology. Manage audit engagements by defining audit strategy and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols. Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters. Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process. Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
Responsibilities

- ● Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- ● A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
- ● Proven experience in professional practice roles and delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- ● Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
- ● The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations.
- ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management.
- ● The ability to create a positive learning culture, and coach and counsel junior team members to help them to develop.
