About the Company
Purpose The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing and managing all quantity and cost remeasurement, variation claims, budgeting and forecasting tasks related to his/her project, including the support of the Sub-Contract Managers for tasks related to claims and estimations.
Responsibilities
- ● You monitor project costs from inception to completion, providing accurate cost projections and detailed reports.
- ● You collaborate closely with project teams to assess project scope changes, adjusting cost estimates and budgets as needed.
- ● You review and understand drawings and material take-off issued by COMPANY or contractors, quantity survey capabilities for various disciplines of work such as Structural, Piping, Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Coating, etc.
- ● You perform site inspection to verify quantities / changes for remeasurement and variation claims.
- ● You prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts, offering transparency and insight into budget performance and variances.
Requirements
- ● At least a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- ● At least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the Oil & Gas industry, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- ● Proficiency in cost forecasting, reporting, cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
