About the Role
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of Product master data, Customer data, Pricing and Kit BOM across systems. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity to support business operations, supply chain efficiency, and reporting needs. This role is to support NEW SAP Affiliates in APAC (Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia & Taiwan) Reports to: Regional Assistant Supply Chain Director, APAC 1. Master Data Management 2. Data Governance & Quality 3. Cross-Functional Coordination 4. System & Process Support 5. Reporting & Analysis
Responsibilities
- ● Create, update, and maintain product master data, customer data, pricing and BOM in ERP and related systems
- ● (e.g., SAP, Power App, etc.)
- ● Ensure accuracy, completeness, and standardization of product data
- ● Manage product lifecycle data including new product creation, modification, and discontinuation
- ● Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and governance policies
- ● Perform regular data audits and cleansing activities
- ● Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies
- ● Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams
- ● Support product launches by ensuring timely creation of SKUs and associated data
- ● Act as a point of contact for master data-related queries
- ● Support ERP systems and tools related to product master data
- ● Participate in system enhancements, data migration, and transformation projects
- ● Assist in developing and improving master data processes and workflows
- ● Generate reports on master data quality and completeness
- ● Monitor KPIs related to data accuracy and turnaround time
- ● Support business analysis by providing reliable product data
- ● Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- ● Process Oriented
- ● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & SAP
- ● Analytical and problem-solving skills
- ● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
