Responsibilities
- ● Experienced in deployment of SASE products, ideally with hands-on Prisma Access experience
- ● Dynamic routing: especially BGP
- ● VPN fundamentals: IPsec, IKEv1/v2, tunnel monitoring/keepalives, MTU/MSS issues
- ● DNS + certificates/PKI: CA chains
- ● Cloud networking basics: Azure VNet concepts, gateways, route tables, vWAN
- ● Global Protect Pre-Logon, Cert authentication
- ● Palo Alto NGFW deployment skills
- ● PAN-OS configuration
- ● Interfaces (L2/L3), zones, virtual routers, NAT, security policy
- ● App-ID, Content-ID, User-ID basics
- ● Security profiles
- ● Anti-Spyware / Vulnerability / URL Filtering / WildFire
- ● Antivirus, File Blocking, DNS Security (if licensed)
- ● Decryption
- ● SSL Forward Proxy
- ● Cert deployment strategy, exclusions, troubleshooting browser errors
- ● Global Protect client
- ● Testing for MacOS Windows Desktop OS and also Citrix Desktop (Service OS and Desktop OS)
- ● Knowledge of Active Directory, Intune, JAMF, OKTA SSO, Proxy, Windows and Mac OS, including registry etc
- ● Strong hands-on experience with:
- ● Prisma product (implementation, change control, testing).
- ● GlobalProtect (GP) and ForcePoint cutover processes.
- ● Mac OS and Windows OS administration.
- ● On-Prem server management.
- ● Citrix environments.
- ● Proven ability to manage complex EUC transitions and new builds.
- ● Excellent understanding of change management processes.
- ● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at L3+ level.
- ● Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
- ● Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- ● Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- ● Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in large transformation programs.
