About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SME - SAP IBP to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions across our manufacturing operations. This role will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive planning transformation initiatives, improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, and enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner, engaging with senior stakeholders, including Directors and VPs, while coordinating implementation partners and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP IBP solutions across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP IBP solution design and implementation aligned with business requirements and planning transformation objectives
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand planning processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive implementation and enhancement of SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response & Supply Planning, and S&OP processes
  • Configure and optimize planning areas, key figures, planning levels, master data, alerts, and workflows
  • Develop planning dashboards, analytics, planning books, and Excel Add-In solutions to support business decision-making
  • Support testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare activities, and user adoption initiatives
  • Collaborate with implementation vendors and external partners to ensure successful project delivery
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices to enhance planning accuracy, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP IBP and related SAP platforms, including S/4HANA and ECC
  • Strong expertise in SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response & Supply Planning, and S&OP
  • Hands-on experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP IBP implementation projects
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing planning processes, including Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Demand Forecasting
  • Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, and Analytics solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and business consulting capabilities
  • Project management experience and vendor management exposure are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to influence change and drive user adoption within a transformation environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of SAP and Supply Chain Planning experience, including 5-6+ years of SAP IBP experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Experience across both consulting and in-house/corporate environments is preferred
  • Participation in at least 3-5 SAP IBP implementation projects
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP)
  • SAP IBP certification will be considered an advantage
  • Willingness to be based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, with occasional business travel as required
