About the Company
Location: Tiverton Delivery Office, EX16 6BH Job type: Permanent contract Salary: 13.68 per hour (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: 37.00 hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday Monday to Saturday Hours : 07:00 to 15:00 Sunday Hours : 11:00 to 18:24 Looking for a delivery driver job where you can stay active, connected to your community, and enjoy great benefits Join Royal Mail as a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) and become the face of our trusted service, delivering letters and parcels in Tiverton. You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.
Responsibilities
- ● Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
- ● Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area

Requirements
- ● A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
- ● Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
- ● Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
- ● Reliable and self-motivated
- ● Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
- ● Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
- ● Comfortable working outdoors and independently
