Responsibilities

  • ● Receipt and identification of components
  • ● Chemical cleaning of components
  • ● Inspection procedures and processes
  • ● Welding of turbine components
  • ● Blending of turbine components
  • ● Operation of various machines/equipment i.e. EDM, CNC milling machines, surface grinders etc.
  • ● Completion of product process tasks in accordance in accordance with approved data (e.g., Opsheets, TPS,..)
  • ● Compliance with applicable quality system procedures (e.g., process control checks, reporting non-conformance, policies, safety statement, air cargo security, Radiation safety, Airworthiness requirements)
  • ● Recording of results of inspections, tests, control checks, batch/run numbers, work completed, to maintain a true record of work completed. Verifying and maintaining component identification
  • ● Perform all tasks in a safe manner and observing good human factors principles
  • ● Assist Lead Hands in achieving goals set
  • ● Person Specification
  • ● Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment
  • ● Good standard of education
  • ● Display acceptable aptitude in verbal & numeric skills & mechanical comprehension
