Responsibilities

  • Conduct all allotted tests as per the procedure or method given in the worksheet or as instructed by the Supervisor or above.
  • Keep all necessary records of the tests conducted in the format given.
  • Keep in and around the test area clean and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around.
  • Maintain the equipment logbook and calibration records up to date.
  • Give the required information about the progress of the jobs on hand to the coordinators.
  • Bring to the notice of the Supervisor any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.
  • Ensure the test reports are on time and review them while entering in the work sheet.
  • Responsible for review of all data sheets and ensuring accurate lab results.
  • Effectively monitor and utilize lab consumables.
  • Ensure the safety of personnel while working by using appropriate PPE.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a plastic testing laboratory or plastic manufacturing.
  • Degree or Diploma in plastics or B.Sc in Physics or Chemistry.
  • Must have completed at least 24 months in Intertek India prior to applying for this job posting (for internal employees).
