Responsibilities

  • ● The IT Security Engineer is accountable for designing, building and enforcing policies and protocols that protect the organization's computing infrastructure from all forms of threats.
  • ● Provides the organization with advanced solutions on cyber threats and helps create strategies to protect the network from breaches.
  • ● Configures, manages, and troubleshoots firewalls.
  • ● Manages Web Application Firewalls for protecting web applications from attacks.
  • ● Administers enterprise-grade antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
  • ● Configures, maintains, and operates email security gateways.
  • ● Implements and supports Zero Trust Network Access frameworks.
  • ● Deploys and integrates Network Access Control systems.
  • ● Administers centralized authentication systems.
  • ● Conducts security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • ● Works with cloud networking services such as VPN gateways, virtual network peering, and cloud firewalls.
  • ● Prepares and maintains technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • ● Has 7+ years of experience in a technical support department.
  • ● Has advanced expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls.
  • ● Has experience with Web Application Firewalls.
  • ● Has experience with enterprise-grade antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
  • ● Has experience with email security gateways.
  • ● Has experience with Zero Trust Network Access frameworks.
  • ● Has experience with Network Access Control deployment and integration.
  • ● Has experience with centralized authentication systems.
  • ● Has advanced knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • ● Is proficient in cloud networking services.
  • ● Holds a Bachelor's degree in IT, CE, CIS, or a related field.
  • ● Has at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • ● Is certified as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in security.
  • ● Is certified in Fortinet NSE 5, 6, 7, or above.
