Engineer III - Manufacturing

Design and develop CNC programs for machining parts using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Mastercam. Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) and ensure proper calibration. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Optimize machining processes for efficiency, precision, and cost reduction. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds. Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure quality control by inspecting finished components using measuring tools. Collaborate with production and design teams to improve manufacturability. Maintain documentation of programs, processes, and machine settings. You will be proficient in specialty areas or technologies and build advanced skills to become a subject matter expert. As a result, you may be directed to deploy your expertise across multiple organizations and/or locations. As a result, occasional travel may be required in this position.
