About the Role
As a Junior Scout at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will support the identification and evaluation of emerging talent across assigned regions. You will provide detailed scouting reports, player analysis, and market intelligence to support the club's recruitment strategy and long-term talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- ● Operate within the club's scouting framework, methodology, and player profiling guidelines
- ● Attend live and online matches to assess player performance as directed
- ● Conduct detailed research on leagues and players aligned to the Emerging Talent Programme
- ● Produce structured and objective scouting reports using club templates
- ● Collect detailed background information and references on identified players
- ● Ensure all intelligence is shared effectively to support recruitment alignment
- ● Build and maintain a strong network of contacts across clubs, agents, and scouting networks
- ● Support the gathering of market intelligence on targeted players
- ● Attend scouting department meetings as required
- ● Communicate player insights and reports clearly to recruitment staff and technical leadership
- ● Ensure alignment between scouting outputs and club recruitment strategy
- ● Engage in continuous professional development and training programmes
- ● Support additional duties as required to meet departmental needs
Requirements
- ● Formal scouting certification (e.g. PFSA, UEFA Talent ID, or equivalent)
- ● Coaching qualifications (UEFA License or equivalent)
- ● Experience in scouting or recruitment within a professional football environment
- ● Strong understanding of talent identification and youth player profiling
- ● Knowledge of league structures, player markets, and emerging talent pathways
- ● Ability to assess players in line with club methodology
- ● Experience in live and video scouting analysis
- ● Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data
- ● Ability to produce clear, structured, and objective reports
- ● Understanding of recruitment strategy and squad planning
- ● Familiarity with scouting software and data tools
- ● Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly
- ● Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the wider scouting strategy
- ● Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and evenings
- ● Valid driver's license
- ● Experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders
