Responsibilities

  • The Specialist, NPD Product & BOM is responsible for managing, validating, and maintaining product Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the product development lifecycle. This role acts as the key owner of BOM data across PLM and ERP systems, collaborates closely with CAD, Engineering, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Production teams, and ensures data integrity and accuracy for successful product development and manufacturing processes.

  • Own and manage Product BOM and BOM structure in PLM; ensure accuracy before transferring to AX2012.
  • Maintain product BOM in PLM and master BOM in AX2012 for all PD revisions.
  • Work closely with CAD and Engineering to translate 3D files, parts, and material details into accurate BOM data.
  • Consolidate and integrate multi cycle data from Flex PLM into production systems; manage data from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate with Innovation for new material code requests, specifications, and follow-up on updated pricing.
  • Work with Supply Chain to identify available materials and ensure correct specifications.
  • Monitor configurations in the Prep-tool and communicate required updates to IT.
  • Perform medium-advanced data analysis to ensure high-quality BOM and material data.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Production, BOM management, Planning, or Supply Chain (jewelry industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Bill of Materials and product structures.
  • Medium-advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability.
  • Logical, detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
