IT Applications Manager (Software Solutions)

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on IT Applications Manager (Software Solutions) to lead the development, integration, and optimization of software platforms supporting our retail, eCommerce, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in enterprise systems and programming, coupled with proven leadership experience in managing a software engineering team. Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and support of business-critical systems, including Point of Sale (POS), ERP, CRM, and WMS platforms Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications Manage end-to-end delivery of web applications and internal integration solutions that streamline business operations and enhance system interoperability Ensure system integrations, data consistency, and security across platforms Maintain a hands-on role in programming, particularly in Python, and perform regular code reviews Drive internal systems integration using APIs, message queues, or middleware to ensure real-time data exchange across platforms Ensure technical documentation, best practices, and change management processes are adhered to Monitor emerging technologies and propose strategic system improvements
