Are you ready to hop on this exciting ride with us and help us achieve our mission We are looking for an Inspector for Food & Agri Products and Seafood Products, you will be responsible for conducting inspections to assess compliance with food safety and quality standards. Your role will involve evaluating facilities, processes, and products to ensure they meet regulatory and certification requirements. Your Main Responsibilities Will Include Inspect Quality, Safety & Compliance of Seafood & Food & Agri products, ensuring they meet regulatory standards. Inspect processing facilities for cleanliness and proper sanitation practices to prevent contamination. Ensure adherence to local, national, and international Seafood & Food & Agri Products safety regulations, including labeling and traceability requirements. Examine records related to sourcing, processing, and distribution to verify compliance and traceability. Prepare detailed inspection reports
Responsibilities
- ● Conduct thorough inspections of food and agricultural production facilities, including seafood processing plants, to evaluate compliance with safety and quality standards.
- ● Assess product quality, labeling, and documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- ● Prepare detailed inspection reports that document findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for improvement.
- ● Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding inspection results and provide guidance on compliance measures.
- ● Stay current with changes in food safety regulations, standards, and industry trends relevant to food and agri products and seafood.
- ● Collaborate with internal teams to enhance inspection methodologies and client support services.
- ● Participate in training and workshops for clients and staff on food safety and quality standards.
- ● Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen inspection processes and client satisfaction.
- ● Bachelor's degree in food science, agriculture, marine biology, or a related field.
- ● Minimum 5 Years of experience in food and agricultural product inspection or quality assurance.
- ● Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in seafood processing.
- ● Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
- ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections and projects effectively.
- ● Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
