  • KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi.
  • Job Purpose
  • The Lead Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing and executing procurement activities for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services in compliance with ADNOC specifications, project requirements, company procedures, and contractual obligations. The role involves leading procurement teams, coordinating with engineering, construction, and project management disciplines, and ensuring successful delivery of procurement packages to support project execution.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Management
  • Lead procurement activities for offshore oil & gas EPC/PMC projects.
  • Develop and implement procurement plans, strategies, and schedules aligned with project milestones.
  • Manage procurement of major equipment, bulk materials, and subcontracted services.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
  • Monitor procurement progress and provide regular status reports to project management.
  • Tendering & Vendor Management
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to approved vendors.
  • Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations in coordination with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Lead clarification meetings and negotiations with suppliers.
  • Recommend vendor selection and prepare procurement recommendations for management approval.
  • Maintain effective relationships with ADNOC-approved vendors and suppliers.
