  • Lecturer (Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics) / School of Informatics & IT
  • What you will be working on
  • Conduct full-time and part-time teaching in Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, and other foundational ICT-related modules.
  • Design, develop, review, and maintain curriculum, course materials, and assessments, while recommending enhancements to improve student learning outcomes, performance, and employability.
  • Facilitate and guide student project work, including e-learning and self-directed learning initiatives, to develop technical and professional competencies.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and academic guidance to support students' learning, development, and success.
  • Engage and collaborate with industry partners, parents, secondary schools, and other stakeholders to support outreach, partnership, and student development activities.
  • What we are looking for
  • Relevant industry experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Candidates with fewer years of relevant experience who demonstrate a strong aptitude and willingness to transition from other ICT-related disciplines will also be considered.
  • Strong passion for education and a commitment to nurturing and imparting knowledge to youths and adult learners.
  • Keen interest and willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills in cybersecurity and emerging ICT domains.
  • Relevant professional IT or cybersecurity certifications will be an advantage but are not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with an interest in mentoring and engaging youths and young adults.
  • Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
