Core Human Capital Management (HCM) Delivery Lead Consultant

• ● We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Transformation team at Mercer, a Marsh business. This role will be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
• ● As a part of Mercer, the world's leading HR consulting firm, our Digital Transformation practice is the digital consulting arm of Mercer and a certified Workday implementation and innovation partner. Our Digital Transformation practice is a full-service Workday partner dedicated to transforming our clients' businesses by leveraging our capabilities and deep expertise across numerous domains, such as HCM, Payroll, Finance, data conversion, strategic transformation, and change management. We also develop strategic direction and opportunities through thought leadership and alignment with Mercer's broader Career and HR Transformation offerings as well as other Marsh businesses, such as Oliver Wyman and Mercer Marsh Benefits.
• ● This role bridges delivery, enablement, and strategy.
• ● We will count on you to:
• ● Architect and lead delivery of the Core HCM workstream, ensuring adherence to Workday best practices while maintaining robust security for a variety of engagement types, including initial implementation, phase X, and others
• ● Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions that directly address client needs, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for complex or sensitive client issues
• ● Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools
• ● Maintain accurate project forecasts for assigned workstream, monitor delivery progress, and communicate timelines, risks, and expectations to stakeholders in a timely fashion
• ● Collaborate cross-functionally with other domain leads to ensure seamless delivery
• ● Develop and deliver thought leadership content and intellectual property, such as knowledge sharing sessions, enablement guides, and best practice materials
• ● Contribute as a subject matter expert for sales and delivery, supporting solution architecture, demonstrations, client presentations, and scoping estimates
• ● Active Workday Certification in Workday HCM.
• ● + years of experience as a certified Workday consultant
• ● + years as a lead consultant delivering Core HCM at the level of a subject matter expert
• ● Strong subject matter expertise of Workday architecture, security, and best practices
• ● Proven ability to successfully navigate client-facing situations and coordinate support resources
• ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
