Responsibilities
- ● A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Western Qualified) to join its specialist eye care team.
- ● The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic services, including diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of eye disorders, while delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with international clinical standards.

- ● Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions affecting the anterior and posterior segments of the eye.
- ● Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual assessments, ocular imaging, and diagnostic evaluations.
- ● Manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, corneal disorders, diabetic eye disease, and other ophthalmic conditions.
- ● Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures within the scope of expertise, including cataract surgery, laser procedures, and other specialized interventions.
- ● Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- ● Interpret ophthalmic investigations including OCT, visual field testing, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- ● Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care.
- ● Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmic nurses, anesthetists, and other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- ● Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and long-term eye health.
- ● Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
