Responsibilities
- ● A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Acute Medicine (Western Qualified) to join its multidisciplinary medical team.
- ● The successful candidate will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of adult patients presenting with acute medical conditions, ensuring timely, evidence-based care and seamless coordination with specialty services.

- ● Professional development opportunities within a leading private hospital Assess, diagnose, and manage adult patients presenting with acute and complex medical conditions requiring urgent hospital care.
- ● Lead the assessment and treatment of patients admitted through the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit (AMU).
- ● Develop individualized management plans and coordinate timely investigations and interventions.
- ● Stabilize critically ill patients and facilitate appropriate referral or transfer to intensive care or specialty services when required.
- ● Collaborate with emergency physicians, intensivists, cardiologists, neurologists, respiratory physicians, nephrologists, surgeons, and other specialists to provide multidisciplinary patient care.
- ● Interpret laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, ECGs, and other clinical assessments to support rapid decision-making.
- ● Participate in daily ward rounds, patient reviews, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
- ● Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- ● Promote patient safety, infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- ● Participate in clinical governance activities, morbidity and mortality meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
- ● Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and medical staff where applicable.
